Hello everyone! We are one week away from finals!
The more time goes on, the more I realize that so many friends will be graduating in just a few short weeks. It is difficult to come to terms with change and new beginnings. The more I talk with the seniors, the more the word "bittersweet" comes to mind. Here we are, at Purdue, studying and learning, but, also, we have been blessed with a wholesome and spiritually rich Catholic community. We have fostered a new relationship with our Lord. How do we keep our love strong once we leave?
As we prepare for the summer and new chapters, remember that Jesus always walks with you, even in a new place. It is normal to mourn what is to be lost, but also important to understand God's plans are bigger than this moment. He has a whole life waiting for each and every one of us.
Jesus rose from the dead, but He knew His time here on earth was coming to a close. His disciples had to take what they had learned, and go out to those who had not received Jesus' message. Like His disciples, it is time for us to use the gifts He gave us, to go out into the world, and to spread the joyful faith we've gained from St. Tom's.
 During this difficult time, I challenge you to ponder on how your faith has developed over the past year. How has God touched your heart, and how has He prepared you for the world? I appreciate all of you so much, and I will be praying for us all! Good luck this week!!
